Thank you for stopping by our blog! I like to write about real estate and the adventure that is owning and operating a family business!

My name is Charissa Turnbull. I live in the small mountain town Woodland Park, CO. It is about 20 minutes west of Colorado Springs. My husband, myself and our 3 dogs love spending as much time enjoying the Colorado Rockies as possible! I love any kind of adventure and travel often. I am obsessed with finding the best deals, learning how to make money work for me and creating a life full of freedom.

My mom and business partner is Judy Ankeney. I talk about her often so figured you might want an intro to how awesome she is. She built this business during the worst economic recession in our countries history and has been very successful. She is one of the most tenacious people I have ever met and truly believes in service. She has built our brand from the very beginning on being proactive, thorough and heading off problems before they come up. As a whole, the Ankeney brand is based around client advocacy and that is all because of her!

My sister-in-law Ashton Ankeney is also on our team. She is affectionately referred to as the keeper of the passwords but truth be told she is the keeper of the passwords, the paper and the sanity! She and my brother have 2 awesome kids and they often participate in our fun. They all actively participate in our business and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Judy, our Broker/Owner loves being a wife, mother and grandma to 11 crazy kids! She loves riding motorcycles, Jeeping and hosting family barbecues at her home in Palmer Lake, CO.

Charissa lives in Woodland Park, CO with her husband and 2 dogs. You can usually find her on an adventure drinking tea and/or searching for the next great deal! Hiking in the woods, traveling and riding motorcycles are on the top of the list!

Ashton is a mom extraordinaire and the keeper of the passwords (and sanity) of the group! She loves being green and doing her part to reduce waste! She also enjoys hanging with the family on the couch watching some “toons!”
